Scope
This policy governs all digital interactions on official platforms owned by Barks & Rec, encompassing chat environments and asynchronous comment sections. It applies to anyone who views, participates in, administers, or engages with these platforms.
Eligibility
All participants must be 21 years or older.
Authority
- Moderators (Mods) and Barks & Rec Team Members (Team Members) have the authority to enforce these rules.
- Rules may be updated at any time without notice.
- Rules are subject to interpretation by Mods and Team Members.
- Barks & Rec is not responsible for interactions in direct/private messages between users.
Prohibited Actions
Members are not allowed to engage in:
- Spamming, including text floods and unrelated or unprompted memes, stickers, gifs, or other media (see Memes, Stickers, and Media below).
- Discrimination or harassment (e.g., racism, sexism, homophobia).
- Political or religious discussions.
- Sharing content related to hard drugs.
- Posting full nudity or exposed genitalia.
- Engaging in sexual role-play.
- Kink shaming.
- Sharing Not-Safe-For-Work (NSFW) media outside of designated channels.
- Unauthorized advertising of other chats or goods/services.
- Misuse of Barks & Rec branding.
- Creating unofficial chats with B&R branding.
Media is welcome when it adds to the conversation. A reaction gif in reply to someone, or a meme that fits what people are already talking about, is part of the fun. What we ask you to skip is media posted out of nowhere: unrelated memes, streaks of stickers or gifs, and recurring "daily" posts that aren't part of an active conversation. These bury real messages and ping everyone in the chat.
- Keep media connected to the current conversation or a reply to someone.
- If a chat has a designated memes or media channel, post there instead.
- Recurring or scheduled posts need prior approval through the Authorization Process below.
External Events & Sensitive Topics
All posts regarding external events or sensitive topics require prior approval to ensure relevance and appropriateness for our community. This includes, but is not limited to:
External Event Announcements: Not permitted without prior partnership.
Obituaries: Must be respectful of affected parties.
Requests for Financial Assistance: To avoid scams and ensure requests are legitimate.
Posts may be removed without notice at the discretion of moderators.
Authorization Process
Only approval from Team Members via

Enforcement
Members violating these rules are subject to post removal or account banning based on Mods and Team Members' discretion.
Joining B&R chat platforms signifies agreement to comply with this policy.
